Milija Čpajak grew up in Belgrade in an artnurturing family. He completed his BA and MA studies in sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. He earned a French Government scholarship to spend one semester of his MA studies at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris (2017). By exhibiting his work and participating in different art projects he has been an active member of the art scene since completing his studies. In 2017 he won the Niš Art Foundation competition second prize and travelled to Korea in the same year where he received recognition for a sculpture that he realized by taking part in a group exhibition. He was shortlisted as a finalist of the Young Balkan Designers competition which led him to exhibit his work at the Milan Furniture Fair. As guest artist of the Marble and Sounds event in Aranđelovac, he create a public space sculpture (2020).
