Novembar Gallery hosted a guided tour of the second part of the exhibition Algorithm of Care, led by curator Mia David and joined by artists Teodora Nikolić and Siniša Ilić. The event offered visitors the opportunity to engage more closely with the exhibited works and the broader conceptual framework of the exhibition.
Algorithm of Care explores how feminist principles can inform the development of artificial intelligence systems, asking how technology can be designed with greater sensitivity to inequality, vulnerability, and the lived experiences of those most often excluded from decision-making processes. The exhibition also considers the potential of AI to contribute to the early recognition of patterns that may lead to gender-based violence and femicide.
The guided tour also marked the conclusion of the regional project AI Against Femicide: Technology of Care, which brought together artists, curators, and researchers to examine the role of contemporary technologies in fostering a more just, inclusive, and caring society.
The project was funded by UK International Development and the British Council.
