About the exhibition
Our Battles explores different forms of contemporary struggle that take place in parallel and continuously intersect with one another.
It is based on the idea that struggle is not a singular, isolated event, but an ongoing process that spans multiple spheres of life—from issues of the commons and ecology to labor, culture, memory, and everyday dignity.
At its core is the notion of space, both physical and internal. Streets, institutions, and shared environments become sites of action, as well as symbolic frameworks in which thought, emotion, and relations to others are shaped.
The exhibition emphasizes that solidarity cannot be assumed; it is continuously built through practice, exchange, and negotiation. Rather than a single dominant narrative, it opens a multiplicity of intertwined perspectives that together form a complex landscape of contemporary experience.
Within this entanglement, struggles do not appear as isolated phenomena, but as interconnected processes that shape a shared sense of time and responsibility.
