Gallery Novembar presented works by three Serbian artists – Brankica Žilović, Jovan Matić, and Tadija Janičić – at Art Athina, one of the most important international events dedicated to contemporary art.

As the only gallery from Serbia participating in this edition of the fair, Gallery Novembar showcased a selection of works that highlight diverse artistic approaches to contemporary social, political, and personal themes, while demonstrating the vitality and diversity of the Serbian contemporary art scene.

Gallery founder Srđan Šaper emphasized that participation in the fair forms part of the gallery’s long-term commitment to strengthening its international presence and presenting contemporary Serbian art within the context of current global developments.

The presentation was curated by Mia David, Gallery Novembar’s Artistic Director and Curator, who noted the strong interest shown by the international audience, collectors, and art professionals in both the featured artists and contemporary artistic production from Serbia.

Art Athina brings together leading galleries, artists, curators, and collectors from Greece and abroad, creating a platform for exchange, professional networking, and the presentation of contemporary artistic practices on an international level.

Through its participation, Gallery Novembar continued its commitment to promoting contemporary Serbian art and strengthening its presence within the international cultural landscape.
